b'Chairperson MessageWelcome, everyone, to another wonderful year in review with LUSO CommunityServices. Each year, our Annual General Meeting is both a time for reflection and a time ofcelebration in our community. I would like to begin by extending my sincere gratitude to all who contribute their time, their compassion, and their vision to LUSO; ourdedicated staff, tireless volunteers, our generous donors and unwavering partners, and our courageous and vibrant community. The contributions of each are the reasonLUSO has had the opportunity to become what it is today. This year our programs have continued to reach into the hearts and homes of thousands in this city and, throughthe keen efforts of LUSO staff, and in no small part, to our Multicultural Outreach Program, many more have beenreached beyond its boundaries, connecting one another through knowledge and empathy. It remains our missionto grow and expand our support for this community in all ways, to foster inclusiveness and wellbeing, and it isour privilege to do so through the delivery of compassionate, responsive programs and services for individualsexperiencing adversity. As LUSO continues to evolve as an organization, to reach new levels of innovation and offer greater foundationalsupports through our programming, I am consistently awestruck by its resilience and resourcefulness thatstands up in times of adversity, strengthening our communitys resolve to be charitable with one another and tohelp make each of your voices heard when it matters most.I would like to thank our Board of Directors for their commitment to seeing LUSO through its celebrations andstruggles, marking each milestone with care, and for bringing each of their unique knowledge and experience tothe governance of this incredible organization through the enacting of our Strategic Plan. I would also like tothank our partners and staff at the Family Centre Argyle, who continue to provide young children and familieswith the resources they need to grow and thrive in our community. And lastly, I would like to thank LUSOsLeadership Team- the keystone of our success, with whom we could not accomplish all that we have done thisyear. It has been my honour to serve LUSO as its Chair this past year, and I feel privileged to be a part of the positiveimpact we have in the lives of so many in the North East London community.I look forward to another year of dedicated service to the vision, mission, and values of LUSO.Thank you.Alicia LawranceChairpersonLUSO Community Services 32024-25 Impact Report'
