Many cultural and religious observances take place during this time, including Eid al-Adha (dates may vary), a significant celebration for Muslim communities centered around generosity, reflection, and togetherness. 

Additionally, May is also Asian Heritage Month, a month highlighting the diverse, pan-Asian culture and the impact of Asian communities that help shape Canada’s identity. This month, we celebrate the rich history and contributions of Asian Canadians to the growth and prosperity of Canada.
