We are thrilled to share that the results of Community Votes London 2025. LUSO is excited to share that we have been awarded a Gold finish for top Community Organization. This recognition is more than a title – it is a reflection of the trust our community places in us and the relationships that are woven into everything we do. At LUSO, our work begins and ends with people. Every conversation, every referral, every interaction is a moment of care grounded in the belief that when a community shows up for one another, lives are strengthened and hope grows.
The heart of LUSO’s work has always been community support for our clients; walking alongside newcomers, families, children, youth, and seniors as they navigate complex systems, celebrate milestones, and face life’s challenges. This award belongs to the people who allow us into their stories, to the staff and volunteers who lead with compassion, and to our community partners who believe that connection is powerful. Being recognized by Community Votes London reminds us that this collective care is seen, felt, and valued.
We are also incredibly proud to announce that Family Centre Argyle, led by LUSO, achieved remarkable success in this year’s awards. Family Centre Argyle was awarded Platinum finishes in Children’s Play Place and Children’s Activities. Even more meaningfully, this marks the second consecutive year that Family Centre Argyle has been named London’s top Children’s Play Place – a reflection of the joy, trust, and sense of belonging families experience the moment they walk through our doors.
At Family Centre Argyle, play is never “just play.” It is how children learn, how caregivers connect, and how relationships are formed. Every thoughtfully designed space, every shared laugh, every curious question is part of a learning environment rooted in well-being, inclusion, and connection. These awards affirm what families show us every day: that when children feel safe, engaged, and celebrated, incredible things happen.
