This program is geared towards newcomers and refugees who have been in Canada for five years or less. A Settlement Worker is available to assist newcomers and refugees with orientation, information, referrals and advocacy in areas such as: housing, health care, education, social assistance, legal system, immigration issues etc.

 

Program includes:

  • Workshops and presentations to ESL classes and groups
  • Orientation: to Canada and London
  • Advocacy and access
  • Community education
  • Aid with clothing, furniture, etc
  • Community information and referrals
  • Immigration information
